CLOSURE OF BUILDINGS – APRIL 9, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nakoda Emergency Management Team can confirm that all Stoney Nation buildings are closed except for those conducting essential services.

Closed buildings include all: gyms, schools, arenas, or any other gathering places.

Please follow Alberta Health Services guidelines of no gatherings with more than 15 people (subject to change), and that physical distancing of 2m (6ft) must be followed at all times. Wearing masks of any types does not exempt you from these rules.

Together, we will limit the impact of this pandemic on the Nation. Cooperation is essential to help prevent the spread.
