Seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance & Skilled Trades Contractor to provide ongoing repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general building support across STA facilities in Mînî Thnî.
This is an independent contractor opportunity, with services required approximately 2–3 days per week, depending on operational needs.

Early Years Educator – Level 3

The Early Years Educator – Level 3 works collaboratively as part of the Stoney Health Services Early Learning team to deliver play-based early learning experiences to children aged 3-5 years in a positive, stimulating, culturally appropriate, creative, and challenging environment. The ultimate goals are to enhance children’s development, self-awareness, self-esteem, school readiness, and connection to Stoney Nakoda culture, language, and community.

Health Care Aide

The Stoney Health Services (SHS) Healthcare Aide (HCA) works collaboratively with the SHS multi-disciplinary health care team to provide basic health services and assistance/support with the activities of daily living for clients (and their families) who have chronic and/or complex medical conditions; physical, cognitive disabilities, and/ or major functional limitations as well as those clients requiring palliative and end-of-life care either in patient/client home settings in Mînî Thnî community. The range of care provided by HCAs is determined by individual client needs as well as the care setting and the competency of the individual HCA.

Headstart Teacher Assistant for Stoney Health Services

The Headstart Teacher Assistant works collaboratively with the Headstart Coordinator,
Headstart Teacher, Stoney Health Services teams, families, and community partners to support the delivery of a
culturally grounded, play-based early childhood program for Stoney Nakoda children. The incumbent assists in
creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children’s physical,
emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, and cultural development.

Child Support Worker

As a crucial Eagle’s Nest team member, the Child Support Worker, reporting directly to the Director, plays a pivotal role in our mission. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that children and their mothers are provided with a specialized program to assist children who have experienced violence in the home. The Child Support Worker completes intakes and specialized programming for children who have experienced violence, providing activities, information, and referrals that meet the safety, emotional, and educational needs of children and families.

Reporting to the Director of Eagle’s Nest, the primary role of the Overnight Worker is to ensure that women and children who are in the shelter remain safe. The Overnight Worker provides overnight support and responds to crisis calls.

Addictions Recovery Support Worker

Peer Support Workers of the Stoney-Nakoda Adult Wellness Center (SN-AWC) have gone through a process of recovery and have obtained peer support-related training to assist clients with substance use challenges to identify and achieve life goals as part of their own recovery. As part of the AWC Team, Peer Support Workers use strengths-based and recovery-oriented approaches with individuals and/or groups to help combat stigma, promote self-determination, and instill hope.

Harm Reduction Licensed Practical Nurse

The Stoney Health Services (SHS) Harm Reduction Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works collaboratively with the SHS multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental support to clients, families and the significant others of those who use substances. The focus is to decrease the adverse health, social and economic consequences of substance use without requiring abstinence; to empower clients to define their own needs with regard to their care; provide information and encourage public understanding of those who use substances.
