PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN – APRIL 9, 2020

Please be advised, the Nakoda Fire department will be conducting a COVID-19 Information Checkpoint on Thursday, April 9, 2020. The Checkpoint will be on East Morley Road in front of the Bearspaw Centex Gas Station.

The Checkpoint is intended to further educate Nation members on best practices, social distancing and minimizing their potential exposure while travelling to and from the Nation into COVID-19 positive locations.

Nakoda Emergency Management would like to reassure Nation members that we are actively monitoring the situation. The entire team continues to work everyday to ensure Stoney Nakoda Nation is prepared and safe.
