Job Summary:

Working under the direct supervision of the Morley Community School Principal, the Receptionist will be responsible for clerical and reception duties such as answering incoming calls, typing, filing, distributing memos and mail, etc.

TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and transferring incoming calls and relying messages.
  • Assisting, greeting visitors and guests upon arrival.
  • General office duties such as photocopying, filing, and using software.
  • Making school announcements through the intercom system.
  • Updating student late reports.
  • Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Other duties as assigned by Principal or Office Manager. 

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Extremely punctual, reliable and able to handle multitasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to be a role model for the students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Stoney languages.
  • Must be flexible, able to solve problems and work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
