Updated COVID-19 information for Morley, as of April 30, 2021
12 new positive cases were reported today. There are 28 active cases being managed by Stoney Health Services. Please note, the 23 variant cases are running total.
Active case numbers in our community are increasing at an alarming rate. Numbers have more than tripled in the past two days alone. Getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent the spread and more importantly protect our Elders, loved ones and our community. Fortunately, vaccine eligibility continues to expand. Now, Stoney Nation members 18+ (born in 2003 or earlier) per Alberta Health Services’ guidelines can get their vaccine, as well as those who received their 1st dose on or before April 7.
Vaccine clinics are planned again for next Tuesday thru Thursday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Family Resource Network (Wesley Lodge). Help our community by getting your vaccine and encouraging our family, friends and neighbours to do their part!
As of May 1, the COVID-19 response team is no longer available on weekends. Anyone needing assistance should contact Alberta Health Services at 811 or in the case of emergency call 911 or 403-932-2222. Refer to our online resources for key contacts and resources for anyone who is COVID positive or tested negative but must isolate and monitor symptoms due to a close contact.
Stay home. Stay safe. Take care.
