Fire DepartmentServing the Stoney Nakoda Nation, the Nakoda Fire Department operates 7 days a week, 12-hour work shifts (08:00-20:00).
The Fire team provides an essential service responding to emergency calls that consist of Structure/Vehicle Fires, Forestry/Grass fires, medical calls, Motor Vehicle Collisions, etc.

The apparatus fleet includes two front-line engines, one Command Pick-up truck, and one Forestry Bush Buggy.
