NOTICE – APRIL 11, 2020

Please be advised, Nakoda Emergency Management, Nakoda Security, Stoney Health Services and Stoney Tribal Administration are aware of the woman from Cochrane claiming she has COVID-19. The team also has reports from Nation members who have seen her in Morley.

We have been in touch with Cochrane RCMP as well as Alberta Health Services regarding the situation. We have contacted Alberta Health Services and can confirm that the woman has been tested and that she is not currently infected with COVID 19.

That being said, we must remain vigilant. Please do not have any visitors at your homes. We need to work together to protect our community. Your patience and understanding are appreciated at this time.
